the venue

The International Bar in the heart of Dublin is over two hundred years old. In 1886 the pub was sold to the O’Donohoe family, who have owned it ever since, and was named the International Bar. It hosted Ireland’s first ever comedy club in 1988 and has been the home of Irish stand up comedy ever since.

The comedy takes place upstairs and there’s live music in the basement most nights of the week.
